Which build is better?

Go to solution Solved by EmeraldKiwi,

With either, you could save money and put it towards something else on the cooler. AIO coolers are neat and all, but most aircoolers these days do almost just as well, and cost 1/3 of the price. For either, the PSU I would vote for would be the EVGA 850 or 1000w G2 model. Jonnyguru 9.8/10 approved. The first build is pretty close to my own, although a few of my components are more updated versions. I think it runs perfect for any game. Literally. Any. Game. 980 + 4790k = ridiculous fps potential, even without OC like I have. My vote is the first build because a powerful single GPU is typically better than two lesser GPUs.

Number 2 With Upgrades and downgrades...

#1.Get a MSI gaming motherboard(the one dats $150)

#2.Get 16GB of Ram not 8GB

#3.HITACHI is a rebrand of WD but worse.Get a 2TB seagate.The SSD get a 850 Pro/EVO

#4.Drop out on one 970 and rather get a Sapphire Radeon R9-290X 8GB Vapor X.

#5.Get a EVGA SuperNova G2 100w

I would go with the first one, but change the case to a Phanteks Enthoo Pro.

Also change the PSU to a lower wattage, higher quality one.

The first is better. More graphics horse power, more processor.
