Could I get some insight on my new build? Thanks. I have already purchased the power supply, case, SSD, motherboard, RAM, CPU cooler, gaming mouse and keyboard. I have also purchased a wireless card from T-P link. I have not gotten the CPU, HDD, and GPU yet. Should I have got a better or maybe two SSDs or HDDs?

What are you planning on doing with this build?

If it's for content creation, it's fine.

If it's for gaming, drop that 4790K, get a 4690K and get a 290X 8gb. Or, at least that's what I would do. Or you can save some cash and stick with the 970, but get a 4690K cpu instead.

yeah I only plan on playing really demanding games like BF4 at plus or minus 60 fps on high settings, and just some school work, no content creation. I was planning on going with the core i5 4690k anyway. Just saw they had a really good deal at micro center and i live near there.

What sort of a deal on the 4790k? if it's below $300 go for it, but if it still is over 300 don't bother, as you wont see much of an improvement with what you're planning on doing.

Micro center has them for 299.99 (i7). What do you think about my storage? Is my ssd big enough?

Hm... Thats kinda tough. I'd say go for it, that's close enough to a 4690k to make it worth it.

And the ssd you listed is famous for speed and reliability. you can't do much better.

Im actualy getting the i5 because it costs only 200 right now. Do you know anything about fan configs with the h100i as well. i know this is important because my case is somewhat choked with the closed fans and only side pannel vents. Was thinking about putting my radiator at the top with the fan in push, maikng the top an exhaust fan. While the back will also be in the back 140 mm fan. The three 120 mm fns will be all intake from the front. So intake from te front and exaust in the top and back. Good? or nah?

Alrighty, so, you want your case to have a little bit of positive pressure, (more intakes and exhausts) to help wit dust buildup. The easiest way to configure that would be, front as intake, the rear as exhaust, and the h100 as an exhaust as well, and to make it easier mount the fans between the rad and the top of the case, that way and dust build up is on the bottom of the rad, the side facing the inside of the computer, making it easier to clean. That should give you a slight positive pressure on the inside of the case, helping to push dust out.
