hello, i suppose before all, a warm thank you is in order, taking your time to help, you rock!

now, i'm not sure, it's been too long since i've been on any forum, but i am new and looking to build. this is what i have in mind:

1. Budget & Location

this particular area varies, my main goal is higher end than my beggining and am open to suggestion, but i intend to upgrade ram at a later time, my finished build i want to be no more than 3,500or so. i have 1,000 to start with. so far i only know i want to use the "MSI GeForce GTX980"
as my video card. my processor i'm inclined towards a intel i7, but i'm not knowlegeable enough yet to make a real educated pick, along with mobo, ram, power supply..etc etc :(

2. Aim

this build i want as a work station, with gaming, i intend to do tons of content creation, and video editing, and ofcourse gaming. (Leaving consoles)

3. Monitors

Good One! i need help with this area, i'm not sure what to type here at all, though 3 would be nice :)
4. Peripherals

i'm unsure of this, though a little homework can change that, suggestions welcome. i want whatever windows is now..i use vista =/

5. Why are you upgrading?

it is time .

come here using a toshiba laptop with a functional yet broken "E". computers are something i want to spend time learning and building, any and all help is so very welcome.

And?

It's supposed to be 32gb. The board has quad channel and 8 slots.
