Need input/recommendations on build

The V8 cpu cooler is loud and does not do a better job than a number of its competition.

The 850 EVO is an excellent ssd that is less expensive than the 730 with better performance.

Unless the plan is to add several more gpu, I think i7-5820K is a better cpu choice. Less expensive with near identical performance.

If you don't need WiFi or Bluetooth, I would actually suggest going with the Asus X99-A motherboard. Certainly a less expensive motherboard will not affect performance, just cost.

Hi this is my first build and i wanted to know if anyone on this forum has any ways i could improve it cost wise or performance wise. i don't want to spend more than $2500, so if anyone could go check out my build that would be much appreciated.

(edit) changed graphics card to gigabyte g1 980

Don't get a reference 980 if you want best performance, other than that you seem to know what you're doing pretty well.

If you want to save money, don't go with DDR4/X99/$500 CPU

I'm not sure if that CPU Cooler is overpriced or not.

Nothing you chose is bad, but it better damn well not be, as everything you've chosen is quite pricey.
