Hey guys,

I dont think im posting this on the right section but here it goes,

So last night my system was running fine and this morning it would turn on and my screen would show a very noisy image of my desktop. After about 5-10 mins my monitor just turned black. I know that my monitor is fine as my PS3 is connected to the same monitor and that works just fine, I also tried connecting the HDMI from my PC to the port i use for my PS3 and I had no luck. Im not too sure as to what I should do.

My PC:

i7-4790k

MSI Z97 G45

Corsair Dominator Platinum 16gb (2x8gb) (1866 mhz)

Asus Strix GTX 970 4gb (or should I say 3.5 gb :P  )

Crucial MX100 256gb SSD

Seagate Hybrid Drive 1tb

EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650w PSU

Please let me know what I sould do!

Thanks.

Take out your graphics card and plug your monitor directly into your motherboard.

If it turns on without problems, then your graphics card is dead.

Ive already tried that there is still no signal to my monitor

Hm, at least your GPU seems fine then. Try to take out your RAM and put only 1 ram stick in and try different slots. Maybe one of them is dead.

If that doesn't work, then your MB might be damaged.
