overclocking CPU

So i was looking online and i found this tutorial on youtube. i always wanted to overclock my CPU (amd phenom 2x4 965). Even though he has an i5 in this video should i follow what he is doing or do you guys think i should follow something else or some other video. I do have the same motherboard biOs as his which is why i am watching it in the first place. motherboard is: ASUS m5a97 r2.0
