Which is the best out of this list:

R1 Universal

R1 Ultimate

H5 Universal

R1 Ultimate. It's meant to compete with high-end coolers such as the Dark Rock Pro 3 and the Noctua D14/D15. The Universal version has more RAM clearance and easier to mount but performs slightly worse. The H5 is a different class of cooler, meant to compete with the Hyper 212

So having a low profiike RAM would be ideal?

The only differences between the R1 Ultimate and R1 Universal are the colour of the metal shroud. The Ultimate is Black, the Universal is White. If you are particularly lucky, you have a fancy one from one of their competitions. The other difference is the included second fan. On the R1 Universal it's a 13mm thick fan as opposed to a 25mm thick fan.

I bought an R1 Ultimate and one of the thin fans to get the best of both worlds (Maximum compatibility, black shroud). I recommend it, it's incredibly easy to mount, (subjectively) looks nice, it feels well built and it performs pretty well.

But doesn't the Universal preform slightly worse than the Ultimate?

That's because the front fan is thinner. So yes, mine performs slightly worse. But, 4.2GHz @1.2v overclock on my 4770k and it's hitting around 55 degrees under load, during summer in Australia. I haven't really played around with overclocks too much yet, I'm waiting for some new case fans

I'm running with an R1 Ultimate, its a great cooler, comes with some pretty nifty thermal compound 2, which performs as well as the mx-4 i normally use. Packaging it arrived in was top drawer too. Easy to install as well. Runs really quiet on my fx8350 and stays quiet while i game.
