Can anyone find me a Red sleeved 650w PSU ?

There isn't any great PSU out there that's red-sleeved out of the factory. Best way is to get a PSU that you can readily buy custom-sleeved cables for.

You could also just use PSU extension cables, which are universal.

You usually need to buy the sleeved cables separately. Corsair offers red sleeved cables for the RM650.

But neither the Corsair RM nor the EVGA G1 are great PSUs.

I have an RM650, and I've had no issues. It's silent and powers my build nicely.

The reliability on RM PSU'S are horrid.Average life spawn according to my speculation of NewEgg and Amazon Reviews in 9 months-1.5 years.

For the same price you can do much better. The XFX XTR 750W and EVGA 750G2 are not only more powerful then the RM650 but perform much better and are the around the same price, sometimes even cheaper.

I was going for silence, I'll switch the my XFX 1050W if/when my Corsair PSU quits.

The XFX XTR and EVGA G2 both have silent fan modes. It drives me crazy when people use silence to defend the Corsair RM, it's not the only PSU on the planet with that feature. There's even a Dynex PSU that has it.

My XFX 1050W PSU has that feature, the RM650 was just a replacement until I RMA'd my XFX.

Then why did you spend $100+ on a PSU just to use temporarily?

Long story.

I sold my old computer, which had the XFX PSU in it.

A week later, the guy I sold it to tells me the computer keeps restarting when he opens games.

He's kind of an asshole about it, so I help him out.

I bought an EVGA 750W B2 PSU to replace it, and kept the XFX PSU.

I sent in in for RMA.

It was boxing day a little while later, so I ordered a new PC.

I knew the PSU wouldn't arrive, so I figured I'd just buy a new one.

The RM650 had a huge discount, so I bought it.

I didn't know about the longevity issues. I thought I would sell the XFX when it arrived, but I later learned about this issue and am keeping the XFX PSU for when the Corsair unit quits.

Then why not sell the Corsair?
