$850-$1200. This range is only for the system/CPU/build, not including peripherals and other stuff.

The problem is that this is an nVidia product and scoring any nVidia product a "zero" is also highly predictive of the number of nVidia products the reviewer will receive for review in the future.

His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

Would it be worth buying a 3000 dollar pc

For the thread title, nope. Again, I'm saying in regards to tower only.

I'd say no. Especially for the tower alone. For just the tower, you get diminishing returns past $1500-2000.

I have a 1600 dollar pc without the video card. I'm thinking a 970 or 980 but also the new Titan x is going to be expensive so that would bring it up to like 2700 dollars. So what video card do you think?

The Titan X is definitely not worth it from a consumer standpoint. For a single GPU PC, 2700 is way too much, heck even a $1600 PC if in USD could easily be accommodated with two graphics cards. However if you already have the PC I'd suggest getting a 970/980, or waiting for the AMD 300 series.

For personal use? a $1000-$1500 tower should be sufficient. It's not worth spending extra just so your renders can finish faster, unless you are planning on making money off it.

As for the Titan X, it's not worth the price tag unless you're making money off it. :)
