Will this setup be sufficient for 50fps steam streaming?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if this network setup would be fast enough for 50fps steam streaming at detailed quality?

I have the client and the streaming pc hooked up to a switch, and the switch gets internet via a 500mbps (100/10 ethernet port) powerline adapter from a router downstairs.

would the 2 pc's communicate directly over the switch, or would they communicate over the router?

I would expect that if streaming is happening via the router, that the powerline adapter would cause massive latency, however i have no idea. If you think that in home streaming would be fine in either scenarios, then that feedback would be helpful too.

Thanks in advance guys

The switch wouldn't get the 500mbps, because the port only allows 100/10 mpbs. So the max you would get is the 100 mbps. Ditch the power line adapter, as you were right, It will cause massive latency. They would communicate through the router and switch. It should go through your LAN.  With the 100 mbps speed, you should be able to maintain the 50 fps with no problems at 1080p. However if you wanted it to take the full advantage of the speed, you could invest into an Gigabit switch, which would allow the total 500 mbps to come through. Any further questions let me know.
