Will all these parts work with each other? Is there anything I'm missing?

Cooler Master's Power Supply Calculator says I'll be using 262W and pcpartpicker says I'll be using 254W.

Should I get something like a 300W power supply? Are the numbers correct?

*I posted this in Reddit and someone said I should get a 400W instead because "as overtime psu's lose their max wattage".

@Vozella

FX chips run hot. You might need a closed-loop watericooler for it if the stock fan's too loud. It's something you could probably add later. I wouldn't imagine they'd ship it with a stock cooler that couldn't keep it within safe temperatures but you might find that it runs quite loud.

Edit: also, don't skimp on the PSU, but that doesn't mean buy one with higher wattage than you need, it basically just means buy a quality PSU from a reputable brand.

Not sure about "capacitor degradation"? It's not really given me any problems but that having been said I've always mistakenly overspent on power-supplies and generally have had a lot of overhead.

@Vozella

Another Edit:

Also, it's generally a good idea to keep the P.C. running at about the mid-range of the PSU's total possible load for it to be at its best efficiency, so a 400W PSU might not be a bad idea (that way you've got the overhead too), but if the sites are saying you'll only need 250 you could probably get away with 300W since I believe they err on the side of safety in tending to overestimate.

I'd say that whatever you go with 400W would be the absolute maximum you'd need and probably would also be much more than you'll need (but do go with a good quality reputable brand because cheap PSU's can and do pop and can and do take out all of the other components with them when they break).

Also, keeping the power draw about half way at the PSU's maximum or lower will (if it's got a fanless mode) prevent the fan from spinning up and causing extra noise.

@Vozella

As above, if you post your budget and what you actually want to use it for (maybe in a new thread asking for help with that specifically) the forum will basically be able to find the best stuff for your money.
