Hey Guys,

i recently buyed a GTX 580 and the previous owner said it has some issues, so i got it for cheap.

I put it in my Computer and it boots up. Hurray! :D

When it finally reached the desktop, i had some huge artifacts:

Then i opened GeForce Experience and want to install the new driver, then it deinstalled the old driver and i had to restart the Computer.

After the reboot, the artifacts where gone! And then the new Nvidia drivers where installed by GeForce Experience and after the second reboot i had the artifacts again...

I don't know how i can fix this, as the drivers where deinstalled it worked!

Did the owner mention the previous issues? That might be it.

Generally that sort of thing is related with the GPU being fried. Im no computer technician but I have seen similar cases a couple of times like that.

I also thought that at first, but then it worked after the drivers where deinstalled...

try lowering clockspeed.

That's a good idea. thanks :) But how do i do that MSI Afterburner?

No the issue that the owner mentioned was that the Computer rebootet again and again and he said it is caused by the Graphics Card
