Best audio converter?

Go to solution Solved by -TesseracT-,

I use foobar2000 for converting music because of the wide range of supported codecs and speed (it can use all 8 cores of my 8320, which makes it a scenario in which it is an awesome processor). I have no idea if it is the best option though. I believe it's not really a converter too, it's just a GUI for CLI tools which it includes. Still nice, though.

Pretty sure audacity, if not natively I'm sure there's a plugin or mod somewhere that allows it.

Benefits: Free

Even fi it doesn't, at least you haven't paid for anything.

Disadvantages: Might take a little time.

Intel i7 4790k | Corsair H110i GTX | MSI Z97S Krait | 16GB HyperX Fury | ASUS Strix GTX 970 | Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SSD | Seagate 1TB Hybrid SSHD | WD 3TB Green | Corsair TX750M |

It doesn't support FLAC though, atleast without extensions. That's why I need to convert.
