pci/pcie x1 accessories ?

I'm using this motherboard

And everything but one x16 slot (for the GPU) isn't in use. My plan now is to use one x1 slot for a USB hub here http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FPIMJEW/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3U7Z6ZDDXTWA7&coliid=I1JOGF3DZ0MT9X&psc=1

But I want those other slots to be used. I don't want a soundcard or Ethernet adapter as my mobo has excellent ones (keep in mind I'm adding another card later one so no x16 accessories)

You don't want a sound card or Ethernet card so you re really limiting what you'll be able to do with it.
