Hi guys my acer v3 571g laptop running 8.1pro has just had its wireless stuff up. It currently believes that a physical WiFi switch is set to off but my laptop doesn't have one. This causes the software on off switch to be grayed out. The adapter is enabled but says no connections are available. I have tried loading defaults in the bios and reinstalling drivers and disabling then renabling the wireless card in windows. At present I'm not at home to try taking it out booting up shutting down and reinstalling it.

The built in wireless card could just be failing, or loose... That's all I can think of... Pretty sure you can replace them though.
