So last night I reinstalled windows (8.1) because I was getting bsods preventing me from getting to the login screen.  Today I reinstalled all my steam games and programs and stuff, and was causally web browsing when I got a random bsod, saying "system_thread_exception_not_handled".  I looked it up and apparently this can be caused by an overload of data or missing system files.  This does not make sense to me as my drive is no more than half full with another, completely empty 1tb drive accompanying it, and I just reinstalled windows.  Should I be worried?  The PC seems to be working fine now but if there's a fix or something I can do to prevent this that would great.  Thanks  :D

This error is ALMOST COMPLETLY memory or storage related.  Occasionally it will be driver related.

What does event viewer say?

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

Yea, you can do it that way.  Or just search "Event Viewer" or "View Event" (depending on your version of Windows) and open it up.  IT DOES TAKE ABOUT 30 SECONDS OR MORE TO GET ALL THE RECORDS PULLED UP.

What we're looking for is anything within the past 24 hours.

Mine looks like this.  All you got to do is find the error and double click on it and it will give you some info.

Well the most recent one is as follows:

"Warning:  The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device SWD\SensorsAndLocationEnum\LPSensorSWDevice"

there is a critical one a bit father but all that says is just "the system reboot was unexpected, could be caused by a crash, etc."

This is a problem with drivers.  This specific one is a fingerprint reader it looks like.

WHATEVER YOU DO, every single little error is NOT solvable.  Do NOT go around thinking you can "fix" all of them.  Some just happen because they do.

What you want to look for is errors that occurred at the time of failure.

The question isn't necessarly this exact driver.  The question is which error is causing issues.

well, the driver failing to load error happened last night, and the critical happened about 20 min ago, which I assume was the bsod because that was around when it happened.  Other that that it's just "information" before the critical from today.

The Windows Logs isn't going to help. That wont have any critical data in it.

Plus, I need it in a format I can view in event viewer. Text format is simply too tedious to go through for free like this, lol.

Did you not read the link from before? It gives you instructions...

All you have to do (simply) is right click it and "save the custom events as"

There isn't anything crazy wrong except it looks like you got a bunch of software conflicts. I have noticed you didn't install your drivers, you let Windows find them and download the generic ones, but that is whatever. I personally think you need to reinstall Windows and do it completely right without taking the lazy way out :P

You got 2 driver issues though since your last reboot at 4:25.

One is a driver not loading at all, and the other is where all the services aren't installed.
