If you're taking about building a house for yourself, get in touch with a home design team and they will have all the connections you need for building a house.

 

Source: Parents built their dream home for retirement a year ago and the design team was wonderful. They handled almost everything including contractors etc.

Ah, my mistake. I think of the "builders" to be the folks who plan everything out and then build it. It all comes in one package. Couldn't hurt to ask someone local who has had similar work done.
