So I will be heading to college in a few months time , and i have no idea what course I should go for , and what career im interested in .

First of all my results suck big time , biology and chemistry are out of the question , and my maths and physics are only so so ..

Next , i have 0 talents , i have no hobbies besides playing video games and watching stuff about tech ( but i am not a techie ) , i dont have many good friends either..

So right now i guess i just want a college course that can land me a stable job but i have no idea where to start .. Can anyone enlighten me and give me some directions ?

Don't worry lots of people go to college with no idea what they want to do as their future career!

0 Talents? It's never too late to learn a trade and progress from there. if you like tech then would you be interested in working in the tech industry in the future?

This is the time to try out different things and see what you like doing!

Was about to recommend a career in a medical field and saw a bad mark in biology. Don't let highschool biology be a marker of what career you should pick. I was god awful at biology in high school, it turned out my teacher was just terrible at her job. I'm now 2 years through medical school and I'm so glad I reconsidered my options and tried out a few bio classes for myself. Test the waters for yourself and remember, do something you have an interest in. Many of my peers were forced into a medical career by their parents and they are miserable.

If you're not interested in being patient then a medical career isn't for you. 60% of my job is paperwork and 40% is actually seeing patients. If you guys have ever wondered what your doctor is doing while your sitting their diddling your thumbs in the examination room, we're updating charts for the last patient we saw and making notes.

Talking about college + med school

And I've a pretty good idea what goes on behind the scenes from my experience.

The way I like to explain it to people who may not know so much about the behind the scenes is, everything leading up to your board certification are building blocks. Think about it like your primary education. Elementary school was a building block which you added more to with middle school and then high school. Undergrad is a building block for medical school which is a block for your residency and specialization training. You can't just expect a 5 year plan, there is just too much information to absorb.

That's the way my sister is going. I'd hate that though.
