Nor will they be dramatically much better. Running a 2½ years old 15" MBPr and it still feels like the day I got it.I've never wished for more than it delivers and I regularly work with Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

Broadwell will allow Apple to make computers even more impressive than ultrabooks such as the XPS 13 while delivering even better battery life than the already amazing battery life that the current Macs are able to achieve. It doesn't hurt to wait right now because it opens up the option for you to buy a previous gen for cheaper, or get the newest iteration.

is there really that much of a diffrence between each mac and the other?

Not a huge mac fan here, but there is quite a difference between their laptop offerings.

The air is much thinner and lighter, but only has a single thunderbolt and the processors are limited to dual core. The retina display MBPro's have, well the retina display along with an HDMI and 2 thunderbolts and can be outfitted with a quad core, along with also having the better Intel Iris Pro graphics and discrete (gtx 750m) option on the high end model. Another option is the 2012 MBPro that they still have which is the last MacBook that is user-upgradeable, and also the cheapest.

So yes, there is a large difference.

When in doubt, re-format.

I mean if your not a content creator or a gamer will you actually feel any diffrence?
