Norton internet security problem

My was working fine until now. The problem is, Norton Internet security doesn't run on startup, it wouldn't run unless I open it manually. I looked at task manager and it's not there at all, but if I run the application manually, I see nis.exe *32. Has anyone experienced this? what did you do to fix the auto run feature?

System:

Intel Core i5 4690k @ 3.5Ghz, MSI z97 PC Mate, Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 gaming, 4x2 Kingston HyperX blu 1600Mhz, 1 Tb Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm, Corsair CX600M PSU, Corsair AF120 Performance edition 3x, Xigmatek Stock fans 3x, Xigmatek Mach PC Case, Asus VX239H 1080p IPS LED 23".

Why not just pin it to the task bar thats what i do.

(To one Norton to another please dont renew)

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

He roars a viking roar as he fills my butt with his love. My dad walks in. Fifflaren looks straight into his eyes and says; "He is a ninja now". Fifflaren is love, Fifflaren is life

sorry about that, I see it now. But then I'll still need to run it manually, right? I'm very forgetful which is why this bothers me.

What do you mean? how do I do that?

Open it and right click it on the task bar "Pin to Taskbar"

and see if that works

Why not? I got it 60 days free from my new Motherboard, and I think it works fine. Is there any reason why I shouldn't use it?

Generally people dislike it because of their brash marketing; high system resource utilization and the fact it has no better protection than any free anti virus available.

Its a virus itself if you dont have it renewed.

Everytime i get a new steam game and update it. Norton removes half the fucking update.

I see. Thank you so much for telling me! I'll make sure to get a good antivirus before it expires. I still have 28 days left :D. Or maybe I should just get the free ones from the net since it's not functioning correctly right now. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I didn't know that this is not a good antivirus. Good thing there's LTT!

You're better off getting avast free, and then once every 2 months or so install the trial of malwarebytes and do a scan (then uninstall)

But to be honest you don't need an anti-virus running all the time.

 

If you really wanted to use norton, then make a shortcut to the exe into the startup folder.
