Download directory messed up

Hi

I'm trying to move my downloads directory folder from my SSD to HDD

so i go to C: -> Users -> UsersName -> Right Click the Downloads Folder -> and i Move it to my HDD

but i put it on D:/ only

so now on my D:/ i can't see the downloads folder, i can just see the file inside of it

it will make my HDD look messy

 

how can i fix this?

Move it to D:\Downloads.

But i don't know where to right click and select the location tab and then move it

because it already in the D:/

now is placed on D:/

 

Edit : I already tried to right click the D:/ on my subfolder in this PC

 

but when i try to move it

windows said, cannot move a parent to child

Right click on Documents (on the left hand panel) > Properties > Location. Move it to D:\Documents instead of D:\.

note : i move the first documents to D:\

but windows said "failed to buld the list of reguler subdirectories under "D:\system volume information" access denied"

Click no when it asks if you want to move contents. Just tried it myself and it worked fine.

Whoops already tried to system restore before your post

It depends where you downloads + documents are, you say their in C and D

 

you can't delete them if they are the active system folder, if they are no longer linked then you can delete them.

I cannot send a pic right now because i'm not on my PC

 

but all i can say is

yes it's in C and D

and i already delete the downloads on D, and it deleted 

and about the documents, i cannot delete it because i don't know where to delete it, but on the left pane on my windows

there is no D:\ and downloads anymore

 

there's only desktop

musics

pictures

videos

local disk c

local disk d

 

and when i right click a file and click send to -> to downloads

it goes to my C ones

so its fixed right ? (deleting the one in D)
