Broadwell K Release Date

Anyone know if it will come out before may? Or should i just go with a i7-4790k or for the extra $200-400 dollars go for x99 instead?

Just go with an i7-4790K. Broadwell is basically the same thing with slightly more power efficient transistors. It's not a re-design.

I suggest the i7-4790K as well...if you can drive to a micro-center store in the US they have awesome CPU and motherboard combo deals.

It seems that Intel is focusing in power efficiency, not performance gains.

I don't think we will see something relevant until AMD finally makes something that competes head to head with Intel.

 

So yeah, go to Microcenter, and grab an i7 4770-4790K
