SSDs temps

smangione
Go to solution Solved by W-L,

So 19 degrees for a SSD isn't safe? then that's not good

19C is excellent nothing wrong with that but if it's 19F = -7.2C then that's a mighty cold room you have there.

What's good temperatures for SSDs lowest and highest safe temperatures.

If it's running keep it between greater than 0C and below 70C, if it's in storage or being transported it can range from -55C to +95C.

Those values are general numbers taken from the Samsung Evo specs, I would personally not let my drive get over 60C when operating and never below 0C in storage:

No It's just 19c and smart was putting the temp under red which is bad, but I know it's directed at hard drives so I just wanted to check for SSDs
