Hello all...i need help trying to find out is there a difference in performance or specs between ATX and Micro ATX? Lets say you have an EVGA Z68 and a EVGA Z68 Micro ATX motherboard is there anything different between the 2 other than size? Please help me...any input will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!!

Motherboards don't really affect performance.  MicroATX sacrifices a few expansion slots for those who don't need them for a smaller PC.

Side note, EVGA is not known for their motherboards.

You may also end up with less power phases than ATX boards.

usually there are a little stripped down and less pci slots. some can still pack a punch like the Asus Maximus Gene with Z77 chipset. however they normally only have one main pci-e 16x slot so you need one good graphics card.

sometimes its actually cheaper to build a full atx rig as not many good m-atx boards out there.

got to love Asus components

That's identical, you mainly get less SATA ports and PCI slots, that's really about it, and a lower power phrase.

not sure on other brands but with Asus Z87 mATX boards the only difference is less connectivity thats it. powerdesign and features are identical to the ATX counterparts.
