What's breaking the bank for you? Also a location? What res? Usage? System specs so we can get an idea of what you can run well? 

This is the new build I am getting ready to set up, Gaming, anything over 1920x1080 and i wanna say nothing more than $250 USD. When you say Location what do you mean?

-Intel 4790k

-EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB ACX 2.0 Superclocked Edition

-Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1600 

-Asus Z97-A 1150 Socket Intel Motherboard 

-Corsair GS700W PSU

-Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler

-NZXT Crafted Series Black and Green (Plastic and Steel/Aluminum) Case

-Intel 520 Series SSD 180GB (Read: 555mb/s Write: 525 Mb/s)

-Western Digital 500GB HDD 

-Windows 8.1 Pro. OEM

I meant as in US, CA, GB etc etc. 

 

Over 1080p isn't possible for $250, but you can get a good 1080p monitor for that price. Do you have a preference on size? Personally, I think 24" is the sweet spot for 1080p

 

The Dell U2414H is probably the best monitor for that price. Very good quality, IPS, thin bezels and generally good looking.

ASUS do make some good monitors, but for pure quality, I would go with Dell. I plan on getting a few of those monitors myself, they're extremely nice.
