Dell PowerEdge 2950 Ubuntu Server Network Problems

I have a PowerEdge 2950 that I'm trying to put Ubuntu server on, and I can't get the the thing to connect to the internet.  It can connect to the local network though. Heres the Network info from the manual Dual embedded Broadcom® NetXtreme II™ 5708 Gigabit2 Ethernet NIC. My guess is it's a driver problem but I'm having some trouble installing the drivers with Linux (still new to Linux).  This is the driver I found for it on Broadcom's site.

 

If you have any knowledge on this please help.  And let me know if you need more information.
