Black screen when exiting games

When i exit some games I just get a black screen and have to restart my pc and I cant tell what the problem is all my drivers and bios is up to date I have no viruses. I hope this is enough information to be able to help but if not just ask for anything.

Try running in borderless or windowed

tried that it black screens when applying the settings. it does when ever I just exit full screen and when I alt-tab too.
