For people looking to buy an FX-6300 (Cinebench scores)

Hello all, this is really only for people who have or want a 6300/6350. I'm posting this because when i was researching whether or not to buy a 6300 i couldn't find solid benchmarks anywhere.

Cinebench 11.5 scores: (I start at 4.5 because it is easily achievable.)

4.5Ghz - 5.81

4.6Ghz - 5.95

4.7Ghz - I'll do this test soon

4.8Ghz - 6.22

5.0Ghz - 6.43

I'll be back with other benchmarks. Hope this helps someone.

PS. if you have any benchmarks you want me to run, feel free to say.

EDIT --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For running at 4.0 Ghz the lowest i could go was 1.24 volts. temp did not pass 40c

Can you please post voltages needed for stabile intel burn test 2GB for each clock? I'm looking to buy one to OC it@ 4.0 GHZ and undervolt it for a super quite stock cooler! Also, freq stable @1.1375V for less than core I3 power consumption!

Sure i'll do that. I dont know if this helps but i didnt need to mess with the voltages until i hit 4.4Ghz

To me, it's an overclockable i3  :D

Sure. Except for the fact that the i3 scores 2.97, and the fx-6300 scores 5.31 at stock.

They got pretty stinken high. Fast.

At idle it was 33c

When I put it under load it shot up to the 50's

I have a corsair H100i with corsair SPF 120 fans running at full rpm

Hey i haven't failed the test yet, but just an update:

The cpu is clocked at 4.0Ghz. And it completed the test at 1.24 volts

I'll go until i fail, but 1.22 volts is what the specs say 3.0Ghz should run on. According to this website: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-FX-Series%20FX-6300.html

the highest temp I got was 40c

Those are stock voltages/p-state from official AMD spreadsheet. Most phenoms are 3 GHZ stable @ 1.150V, 2.3GHZ@0.9500, 1.6 GHZ @ 0.8375, 800 MHZ@ 0.700.

1.22V@4 ghz is impressive! I suspect it will clock @ 3.8 Ghz with 1.125V. If it's true, It distroys I3 ivy @ the same wattage!

Ok so, i just tried to run the cpu at 3.8 with 1.125V, and it wouldnt even boot.

So i bumped the Vcore up to 1.2 and it past the test. temps didn't get past 38c
