I am building a rig. I will ONLY list the components that I think that need cables:

MSI Xpower Z87

1 Gtx 780

1 Optical Drive

1 HDD

What cables do I need? I dont want to buy too many cables.

EDIT: Sorry, i forgot to say that I was going to buy extensions.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

All the cables you need will come with your components, unless you want to do something particular you should be fine.

Are you buying sleeved extensions or something?

2 PCIE cables - 1x8pin, 1x6pin

2 Sata Data, 2 Sata power.

1 CPU power connector

1 MOBO (24pin) power connector

Molex for fans? Or will you be plugging into the mobo 3/4pins?

Will be plugging fans into a Bitspower Multi fan hub. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/7136/bus-127/Bitspower_X-Station_Power_Extension_II_-_Blue_LED_BP-XSP2M-BL.html?id=4fq2vE4D&mv_pc=161

In that case you would also need 2 molex cables to power that.

Why do you want minimal cables? You can go modular and only use what you need and if you need something in the future you have it. Not sure only buying the bare minimum is a good thing.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.
