I'm planning on selling some crap on eBay if my dad will cooperate, but I have no clue how stuff works. I plan on selling one thing for $1.00 (seemingly dead RAM stick), and a few other things for $5.00 or so. But I don't know how the shipping aspect of things works for this. Like, how is it calculated, and so on. So if you peeps can please fill the holes in, I would greatly appreciate it.

When you sell, you can either use eBay to pay for the shipping and print off a prepaid label (honestly, it's best to do this, it's so much easier). Once someone buys something, you can see their shipping address.

There's also a 10% sellers fee. So if you sold an item for $50, you would pay $5 fees to eBay.

For shipping, you input weight and size and it'll calculate shipping costs based on who you're shipping with. It's literally just the shipper's calculators built into ebay. You'll pay it through ebay, and print your label on ebay.

Also remember you usually pay fees for listing things, and you pay 10% of every sale to eBay. It starts getting steep

IDK if it's worth your time to sell small things there. Sell them as a lot - they'll sell. I wasnt able to sell 80GB sata HDD's for $10 incl. shipping.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

So... Should I sell 2x 128mb 133MHz SDRAM for $15?

To be truthfully honest, I have about 200 sticks of 512mb ddr2 and dont even see it as worth selling. Unless it's over $50 in vlaue, I dont generally put it on eBay, as shipping/fees/ etc. are just not there (for me). I'd resort to CL or such.
