i7s have really no benefit over i5s when it comes to gaming..

Other than that, its a bit overkill for a gaming pc, but looks good.

For gaming, an i5 4690k will do just fine. The performance difference is negligible. Thus the whole x99 and ddr4 thing is all unnecessary.

Laptop - Lenovo Y50   Keyboard - Corsair K95 RGB Cherry MX Brown   Mouse - Logitech G502 Proteus Core   Mousepad - Razer Firefly

Honestly if you are ONLY going to be gaming don't get the x99 platform. Its made for enthusiasts which mostly do video encoding, editing and other intensive tasks. If I were you I would get a z97 board (which is cheaper) and an i7 4790k or i5 4690k. With the money saved you could probably get two 980s. Also If you are going to be gaming 32gb is way way way overkill. You could get 8gb of ram or 16gb. Its an amazing build, but if you are going to be gaming you are overspending to much on things which won't get you better performance in gaming.
