I wanted to find out what are normal temps for an overclocked 3770k with custom watercooling?  I have reason to believe that my setup is not properly cooling the CPU.  I'm sitting at 45C on the desktop with the CPU @ 4.0 GHz.

Since your using custom that does seem a little bit high.

What's your config and CPU settings? You should gun for a clock higher than that.

I had it clocked @4.6 when an H100i.  I was aiming low just to check the performance of the loop, and I was shocked when I saw that temp.  What should I do?  Also, I'm in class ATM and I don't remember all of the settings of the top of my head.

Check the TIM (thermal paste) has a good spread. A small dot does it since the pressure on the block will spread it out. That can affect temperatures.

Ok.  I have been thinking that the block isn't tightened completely.  When building I was a little timid because the block does not have any way to let you know when you completely install it.  I will look at it and see what I can come up with.
