Can I re-use the liquid in my system?

Its been a week since I filled it up the first time.

I take it that you're draining your loop for some reason?

If so, make sure that the liquid goes in to a CLEAN container that way nothing gets into it such as dust, dirt, hair, etc... then you should be able to use it again.

You have to change it every 3-6 months.

Its fine

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

Had my coolant in my loop for almost a year with only topping it of once about a month after building it. You should just keep an eye on that there's enough coolant and that there's no clogging up or serious staining.
