Well you sort of forgot a huge bit of info, the year.....

But yes Honda makes awesome bikes, the past few years they have made the most ergonomic and best handling bikes. This is great for new riders or riders looking to do enduro since it will fatigue you less and allow you to stay on the bike and keep it in control through some of the more sketchy rock crossings and such. The downside is they aren't the most powerful of the competition.

Things you should look into getting are larger fuel tanks, HAND GUARDS, and skid plates to cover undercarriage and radiator and disk brakes.

Ofcourse before buying new parts or taking it to a race you will want to identify and fix anything that is broken. A good tip to see if the engine is worn the fuck out is to read reviews on the year bike and see how the powerband is (IE pulls hard low end and drops on top end, ect, ect) and when you go to test ride it see if the bike reacts how it should.

I got a 01 CR250 (2 stroke) good bike, reliable never broke anything serious yet.

I hope that guy never hit a bump while steering or he is literally going to cut his tire in half lol

Can't go wrong with a honda bike.

And it's already been mentioned in the thread. Hand guards and bigger tank.

The rest is personal preference. Gearing and stuff like that.

I've always been more of a 450cc guy. But a bike that is a bit lighter is a good start for enduro.

It's also a four stroke according to the internet. And that's (In my opinion) better for enduro. It revs a bit slower and that will make a big difference when trying to get over a slippery log (With good tires)
