Windows screen

I recently upgraded from my inboard graphics to a MSI GTX 750 Ti and when it's plugged in, everything goes until I get to the windows logo. It just stays there and nothing happens. I took out the card and it works past the windows screen. What do I do???

What's your PSU's wattage? Are the powerconnectors (if any, not sure) connected firmly?

I have a evga 600 watt PSU and there aren't any power connectors on the card. It turns on and everything, it just doesn't move from the windows logo

I now noticed that the computer makes the normal startup sounds like the music it makes when it starts up. But the screen just stays on the windows screen

It's not going to be the PSU, your whole system would be screwy, and would also have a difficult time POSTing. If it's at all possible use the on board graphics, try using the computer with that, and then see if you can get past the Windows logo. (btw, this doesn't seem like a problem from putting in a new Gfx card, however stranger things have happened)
