will it bottleneck?

i'm planning to upgrade my current pc, spec which is :

m.board : Asus M5A97
Processor : AMD Phenom ii X6 1100T 3.30 ghz

G.card : gigabyte GTX260 (896mb,448bit)

P.supply : 550w

*planning on changing to a new graphic card....NEITHER
1. Asus R9 270X DirectCU II TOP 2GB DDR5  or
2. Gigabyte Radeon  R9 270X 4GB DDR5   OR
3.Asus GeForce GTX 750 


does i have to upgrade my cpu also??(if!,maybe i'll chose FX8350)

Get the r9 270x 2 gb. Also don't worry your cpu is going to be absolutely fine .

I - for me personally - would go for the 4 gig GPU, just to have it...

270x destroys 750, and no it shouldn't significantly bottleneck most of the time. In CPU intensive games that only use one or two cores it will, but you shouldn't worry about it too much unless you play those games (FSX is an example).

You still have a good CPU... this one performs better than FX6xxx. Better IPC than FX series overall
