Steam Overlay Help

So I have CSGO running at 4k down-sampling on my computer. It works wonderfully except one small issue. Like its a small issue - (get the pun...) because the steam overlay is tiny (at 4k) but it wont down-sample and get bigger. If anyone knows how to fix this that would be great.

(also i know I can increase the size of the overlay for everything, but then on my other, demanding games it will be too big when I don't run at 4k)
