Homeworld hype

i should of wrote this 10 years ago but, i got another chance. have you bought remastered games? did you own them on cd or another system before?

I've never got any games legally back then since a lot of them weren't available and we didn't have that spending money. But I've been buying various older games from GOG from my childhood. Some of them some kind of remakes.

 

I usually have difficult time getting into older games because of the graphics and UI design. I can only get into games that I've played as a kid.

 

I've never played Homeworld but the remake seems to be really good so I'm thinking on picking it up. But I just got Frozen Cortex and I'm still pouring time into Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. So I'll get it sometime later.

I pre-ordered the remastered version of Homeworld. Couldn't resist. I did play the original ones when I was younger, but my memory of them is pretty hazy so I can't remember much.

me 2, i do believe they lost the source code of  cataclysm .

yes sadly the cataclysm source code is gone. i hope this will sell good and that they might even make a proper Homeworld 3. and with 34.99 for 2-4 games the remastered is a good deal in my opinion. i was even thinking about getting the collectors edition from Amazon UK but they only take card and i don't have one.

Some of the original creators of Homeworld are creating a new RTS.

 

 

And when Gearbox got hold of Homwrold IP they contacted them and made some kind of deal to allow them to use Homeworld IP. But there haven't been any news on it for a while.
