First mechanical keyboard?

I recently ordered (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823129002&nm_mc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel&cm_mmc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel-_-Content-_-text-_-) It's my first mechanical keyboard. Yes I've checked out the different key switch types, and found that Blues would be the best for me. I was wondering.. Did I get a good deal (Paid $80) Is this a good keyboard? And should I buy the extended warranty on it?

Yeah, I think that price is fair for that keyboard.  Is it good?  Yes, if not rather basic.  Many mechanical boards have no silly LCD screens, macro keys, etc etc.  This is a fine keyboard.  As for an extended warranty.. if this thing isn't DOA immediately I don't see it breaking.. ever really.  It's a simple mechanical design that I feel doesn't have many options for failure; or even many points for such.  The switches are reliable as hell, the circuitry is basic since there is just the keyboard, and you don't move your keyboard often so I don't see the cable wearing out.

You do not need an extended warranty - no. I have that keyboard (well, the limited edition with Cherry MX Greens) and it is solid for sure.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

CoolerMaster has some sturdy products so you won't need an extended warranty  B)
