RAM upgrade?

so i do a lot of photography in lightroom and photoshop so my 8GB of ram is normally full. so i currently have corsair vengeance 8GB 1600MHz, i was wondering should i upgrade to some 2400MHz ram but 16GB which should be enough would it make it faster. or should i just get a 16GB kit of the same ram and have 24GB of RAM? what would you do? and what would be noticeably faster?

corsair vengeance 8GB 1600MHz. I don't know how much ram you need. So just suit your own needs.

i think i will do that but is there any benefit in faster ram for things like photoshop? where it will use a lot of ram

Nope. If you got $$$. Then get more ram to feed them.

ok thanks man im going to just get the 8GB 1600 kit again will i still be able to use XMP profile?
