DNS does not work

Hello, i host a website at home (please don't blame me this threat isn't about that) but anyway the ip works fine i forwared but just bought an dns for it but it doesn't work does anyone now why? and i may host from my isp really so does anyonenow what it is?

Your paid dns will have a log history. The isp dns might block the private dns. Try to ping your own website with only one set-in default isp dns address. Then observe the hops.

Ehm... Did you said you host a website at home? Better host your website on a hosting service provider if it is for public views. Its easy to snoop in and exploit your data. If it is hosting on a non-isolated network/computer. Unless you're using it for your own use or friends. Create a intranet and vpn to share among the few of them.

Try to ping first. ISP always outsource their customer service officers. So....

well ping to my website works perfect via the ip

See the Dns servers. Then disable to one private dns address you paid.

Please go google or something. Save the hussle and go Squarespace. The basic understanding is essential.

Who setup the DNS for your domain....

Do you have your SOA record setup?

Do you have all your A records pointing to your public IP address?

If you are NAT 'ing internall do you have the proper ports forwarded to the correct internal IP address?
