Dumb question

Go to solution Solved by XTankSlayerX,

Nah, its eletronic. cold tempetures wont damage it, nither will high ones.

Hey, peeps

I got a dumb question. Yesterday I received my second EVGA GTX 970 SSC and left (forgot) it in the car over night (unopened, still in foil). Should I be worried? Temps at night are 2-3°C

Thanks

Its a GPU not a small child...

I know, but a colleague was scaring me about condensation :D just wanted to be sure

Just leave in it your room for a couple of hours to remove the condensation. Then it should be fine :)

That is partly incorrect. High temperatures do have an effect on electronics. It's all about the temperature.

Of course, didn't mean THAT high, I mean its not going to survive 200C but it will do 50C without any issues.

I would be really worried if i left my GPU in a car and it reached 50°C in there during the night  :D
