I am struggling to build a good gaming PC for around 850 AUD. I dont know what to comprimise? Please leave some builds below. It would be much appriciated.

What do you want to do with it? 1080p gaming? MOBA gaming? Are you gonna use it for something else (e.g video editing)?

1080p Gaming Medium-High settings and browing internet =P no os or peripherals included

Are you sure 500W will do fine with a r9 280x, and by the way how do place pc part lists like this?

Use BBCode on the side and it'll generate the list.

 

As for the PSU, I've ran a OC's 4790K and a GTX 760 on a 430w under load with 0 issues. The 280X has about the same power draw, so it'll be just fine.
