I'm trying to understand something about capacitors. I can appreciate the voltage rating, that the higher the voltage the better the tolerance of a higher voltage supply. What I don't get is the capacity. Why when we're changing the capacitors, the capacity rating has to be the same or at least very very close for things to work well? Does the amps go up or something when you discharging higher capacities?
