Help! Build question

Putting my build together and had a question about a Cable: Corsair CX750M PSU with these cables the 6-8 Pin connector to the PSU is blue and labeled 
txm/hx series only, my PSU has no matching blue 6-8 Pin connectors will this cause any issues when connecting my GTX 980?, As far as i can tell the cables should be Compatible.

How did you get a PCI-E 6-8 pin cable with your CX series that was designed for the HX series? I'm not quite sure, but if you indeed do have a 6-8 pin connector from the HX series, you really shouldn't plug that into your CX series PSU.

I bought an extra set of cables from corsairs, that was included.

Call Corsair. Could be a labelling problem or an actual problem.

plugged it in to my GTX980 everything seems to running perfectly

It will work fine as the mentioned psus use the same modular connectors and cables.
