So here is my new build, ive already started buying:

CPU - i5 4690k

mobo - gigabyte g1 gaming 3

Ram - 8gb hyper x fury - Already own

GPU - MSI r9 280x - plan to upgrade again in 2 years

ssd - 120gb kingston v300 - Already own

HDD - 1tb caviar blue

PSU - Antec TP 650C - Already own

case - Red/black h440 - Already own and i wired red leds in and under it

CPU cooler - hyper 212 evo

Monitor - ben q gl2460hm 1080p 60hz - Already own

Mouse - Corsair m45

Keyboard - Corsair raptor k30

 

Please let me know what you guys think and keep in mind that i plan on upgrading the gpu in as little as 2 years so im sure the 280x will last as long as is needed before upgrading :)

The ssd i already own the v300 120gb as said above :), as for the 970 its over a hundred pounds more expensive and as for the time i need the gpu to be great the extra money isnt really justifiable

 

I would get a SSD for boot and a 970. imo

Can I recommend you NOT getting that mouse and keyboard? Now, don't get me wrong, it's not that they are bad. But when buying peripherals, you HAVE to test them with your own hands. Every person's body is different, and a that particular choice might actually be bad (to you). Go to a local store, grab the stuff they have and press it's buttons.

 

Just trust me on that one, you'll thank me later....
