i.e not working

guys, dont laugh, but internet explorer is pretty imp to me...since i use it for a particular log-in page

when i click on it, it simply says "close the program or check online for solution and close the program". 

but when i do check online it doesnt solve the issue...
i have i.e 6...i upgraded it to 11 today...still didnt solve the problem...
any suggestion as to why this may happen and solutions..??

Try on another system. It could be the site (If its crappy enough to need IE, then its crappy enough to have bugs and massive scripting errors).

it doesnt need i.e....i use i.e for that...since i close off all other net-using apps to get better latencies online...but have to keep that site open since that is my internet login site...
and i.e doesnt open...when i clock on it it says that msg...i cnt even get to the url locations

i upgraded the i.e to 11...still same problem...

Clean install of Windows. Next time bring protection.

some updates messed it up...
had to re-install updates...and some internet settngs..
