Dying Light EXPcalibur

Hey guys, I just got dying light and started to play it. I had seen a hint somewhere on youtube about the EXPcalibur sword and where to find it. Literally the first thing I did as soon as I was allowed to leave the tower was run to the beach and get it. Only problem is that I can't use it and it doesn't show up in my inventory. Does anyone know if you have to be a certain level to be able to use it or something? Or maybe I just did something wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have to hold down x for 3 minutes to pick it up. And if you wait around you get a blueprint for it.

 

 

Also, it levels with you. It's better to get it later in the game.

 

 

(or the pick up button idk. I use an xbox controller on my pc for this game)

As @christianled59 said, you have to wait 3 minutes to pick it up, but watch out! when you pick it up it explodes, leaving a blueprint there. It has 7 uses btw.

Also, NEVER throw it. You won't be able to pick it back up.

IMO it's a good early game weapon, but get's bad fast.

7 durability. Way more than 7 uses. Probably around 50 swings before it breaks.

Yeah I did that and the corpse burst into flames but it left me with no sword. I guess I'll just try again, I was at the very beginning of the game anyway.
