Impressions on Windows 10

I want to know what do you guys think about the new windows? and what is good about windows 10 and what do you think they need to improve on? If you have any other comments about the OS that you think that others need to know feel free to post! So far i found that the style of windows 10 looks better then windows 7, witch is why i am vary tempted to switch right now. but at the same time people find many errors with the software. Yet i know it is in development.

I like the aesthetic and ease of use of Windows 10. Not much needs to be done to it IMO other than program compatibility issues, but that's not arguable now as W10 is still not at it's final release.

Well since it is BETA. It's hard to judge since we only see 1/10th of whats actually there

True, yet so far i think it is going good. Much better then windows 8 became. Its like Microsoft has a pattern Good, Bad, Good, Bad. Like Vista=Bad windows 7=good windows 8=bad windows =10 good, well i hope it will be good. but so far from what i have been looking at. it seems to be good.

GUI is OK. Need some polish, but that is obviously going to come.

The new icons are abysmal.

I find that if Microsoft doesn't make sure that Windows is nice looking, how they have been doing for many years, people won't switch.

I am a string believer that a big reason why Linux based OSs doesn't attract people, is that its GUI is uninviting, it looks unpolished, no attention to details, and amateurish looking.

Windows 10 is sadly going that path.

On Microsoft Windows 10 User Voice forum, many seam to agree. Windows 10 GUI and icons needs to change.

A few days ago, it was 7,000 votes, than quickly jump to 9,000, and now.. I wanted to type 11,000, but it is 15,044!

Update: 15,059 votes. the rate of increase is really high.
