My main system is getting old and laggy.

I have 350$ to spend right now to upgrade my CPU,MOBO and RAM

I saw alot of options with AMD and Intel.Been looking and cant really decide i5 or i3 and on what to focus more.

I also would like to have money left over for a case or SSD in the list

I basicly just game and thats it.I would like to be ready for GTA 5 especialy.

Also would mind if ARMA 3 and ARMA 2 (Dayz SA) run well with the CPU

Any of you have an option or a full upgrade list on what to focus or what to buy and more important to choose i5 or i3

*edit*

Currently been planing to build:

i5 4570/4440 or i3 4370/4150 with ASUS h81m-c

Well this is 350 euros. Thats 400+$ without the ram.

Do you think that a 4440 or a 4570 wouldnt be cabable to run gta 5 with gtx 580?

Yeah thats not gonna happen. You can barely get something decent for the full 350 and its not gonna be great in ARMA.

Oh, you said you have "350$" in the topic, and given you said amazon.de I converted that $350 to euros which is just over 300 euros?

And yes, a 4440 or 4570 would be capable

I just counted and if i buy H81m-C which is 50euros here and get a 4690 it leaves me about 12 euros to get RAM.So probably i will have to buy used ram or save a little

Or you could keep your current mobo and get a decent CPU and new RAM?

In your original post you said 350 usd not euro. 350 euro get you a little further. If you can fit a 4690 in you budget that is great for arma.

A couple of my friends have the 4690, it's the sweet spot for gaming... and it will be great for GTA V

Edit: and I'd say you could get a minimum of 40 euros (going by previous sales on ebay)

Massive to be honest.

Man 40 euros would be enough to get good ram + 4690 and a new case... I hope i can sell it

?

Waaaait a minute.Wont a 4690 require me a bios update with a h81m-c?

Possibly, as with all haswell refresh chips when using h81 chipset :/
